Whichever you prefer. I have grown to appreciate Autumn. Being from the Caribbean (Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic to be more precise) I’d always loved loved loved intense summers. But more recently I found them suffocating and just darn unbearable (no ‘getting old’ comments, thank you!).
So, now when the weather cools off and just gets a bit more crisp I kind of breathe a deep sigh of relief. I can wear my cute sweaters and pull off some hairstyles that may not work so well during our uber-humid Chicago summers. No love lost as it all works out.
I’ll see if I can get some photos of our leaves turning here for you all to view. But for now just enjoy the cooler temps and go out for a walk before it becomes impossible to do so.
